Conrad “Con” A Schneider, 85, of Lincoln passed away April 23, 2021, in Lincoln. He was born on October 31, 1935, in Lexington, NE, to Art and Nancy (Smith) Schneider. Con graduated from Lexington High School (1953) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1957). He was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity while at UNL. He married Carolyn Speak of Lexington on June 15, 1963.
Con was involved as an employee and an owner of several businesses during his lifetime. Agriculture was an important part of his interests and he spent almost 41 years involved with agricultural service businesses. He enjoyed working with business personnel and customers! Con was active in various organizations during his life including Rotary Intl. and various Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed being part of Methodist church choirs wherever he lived and participated in them for over 64 years.
Family members include his wife Carolyn, Lincoln; son Scott (Ruth) Schneider (grandsons Grant and Kyle); daughter Julia (Rick) Becker (grandsons Nate (Alyssa) and Alex Becker). He loved the Lord, his Family, Country and Friends.
A Graveside service will be held for family.
Memorials may be given to the choir fund at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.
