Connie was one of my favorite Music teachers, and not just because she made scrumptious cinnamon rolls, she always had a smile for everyone. I was a fellow employee of USD 500 in KCKs. I marvelled at her many talents, sewing so many costumes for her elementary kids for their music programs, her talent for playing music and all the many yummy dishes she prepared and shared. A fine lady, she will be missed.

I will always remember her infectious laugh and the fun times with her in high school. And now she is home her Savior.

I had the honor of completing my student teaching with Connie in 2007 at Kansas City Kansas Public Schools. I learned so much from Connie and still use many of the lessons and ideas she shared. Connie’s legacy lives on through all the lives she touched and all the meaningful musical experiences she gave so many students, including myself. May she rest in peace.

I was one of Connie’s students but also a friend. I always helped her at the piano and sat with her during volleyball when she helped coach at MdCV she was an awesome lady. Loved every musical she did!
