Member of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Friendship Group; PEO, Chapter K; and the former Mariner Group.
Josephine is survived by her daughter, Jody (Dr. Charles) Anderson, Lincoln; son, Richard E. (Twyla) Hughes, Grand Island, NE; grandchildren, Kelli Jo (Rob) McGuyver, Lincoln, Kerri J. Anderson-Atencio, Broomfield, CO, Scott R. (Jennifer) Hughes, Portland, ME, Stacia L. Buschow and Steven E. Hughes, Omaha, NE, Stephanie D. (Lex) Jacobson, Battle Creek, IA; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Earl Hughes; 2 brothers; 4 sisters.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Friday (10-25-13) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street with Rev. Dr. Robert Chitwood officiating. Private prior interment.
