Clayton was a U. S. Army Veteran (1966 – 1969) and served in Vietnam as an ammunition’s specialist. He was self-employed in the auto business with a plethora of knowledge in unique and rare vehicles. Clayton was a member of the VFW and Crossroads Corvette Club.
Family members include sons Clayton (Shellie) Bryant II and Jeff (Lisa) Bryant; his daughter Mandy (Jeff) Toms; grandchildren Brody and Chloe Bryant, Sutton, Peter, Pearson, Cyrus, Hadley, and Sophia Toms; brother Doug Bryant; close friend in adventures and confidant P.J. Shaw, and several great buddies that rode shotgun to his never-dull ride of a life. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Bob.
A celebration of life open house will be held at noon, at the VFW in York, NE on Saturday, March 26th, with burial of cremains in the Fort McPherson National Cemetery columbarium at a later date.
