Carrie was a vibrant and creative soul with a deep love for life’s simple joys. She had a passion for art—especially pottery and painting—and was a regular participant at Live Yes Studios, where she expressed herself boldly and beautifully.
A true fan of all things glamorous, Carrie adored jewelry (especially her signature hoop earrings), loved shopping, and never missed a chance to get her hair and nails done—often choosing hair colors as bold and colorful as her personality. She embraced sparkle, sass, and self-expression in everything she did.
She was also a devoted WWE fan, and anyone who spent time with Carrie quickly came to know her infectious energy and signature “Carrie chair-shaking laugh” that could light up any room.
Carrie had a sharp mind and a generous heart. She was deeply intuitive and used her insight to advocate for others, serving with dedication through the League of Human Dignity and Aktion Club. Her compassion and fierce loyalty made her a cherished friend and a trusted voice in her community.
Carrie graduated from Lincoln East High School and remained deeply connected to her hometown throughout her life. She also spent meaningful time living in both Kentucky and Mississippi, where she made lasting memories and lifelong friendships.
She is survived by her brothers Dan Marsh and Rick Marsh, both of Lincoln; and sisters Piper Porras of Omaha, NE; Brenda (Bill) Komma of Topeka, KS; Diane Holdren of Kansas City, MO; Patricia Holdren of Lincoln, NE; Melanie (Ted) Buettner of St. Edward, NE; and Stephanie (Randy) Van Meter of Boise, ID. She is also survived by her nephew Preston Marsh, and nieces Shaley Fricke and Ally Marsh, all of Lincoln.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Diane K. Marsh and George L. Marsh, along with several beloved family members who no doubt welcomed her home with open arms.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dallas Dils, Carrie’s best friend and devoted caregiver, for the love, laughter, and companionship he gave her.
And Dallas—Carrie can’t even with you right now!
