Family includes her children Nancy (Dallas) Kiburz of Lincoln and Jeanne (Lloyd) Scheve of Blair, NE; grandchildren. Adam (Andrea Reynolds) Kiburz, Joseph (Lisa Marie) Scheve, Emily (Brian) Grimes and Lisa Ann Scheve (Fiancé Derek Kowal); great-grandchildren Elias Grimes, Carly Kiburz, Henry Scheve, Caden and Callahan Kowal; sister Maril (Gordon) Freese. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale, brother Darrel and an infant brother.
A determined German, Carolyn was adamant on not having a “Funeral”. The family will gather with friends from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, with a prayer service beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Pilgrim Hall, at First Plymouth Church, 2000 D. St., Lincoln, NE. Memorials may be given to the First Plymouth Music Program/Abendmusik.
