Carol J. Glenn

June 20, 1925 - December 15, 2023

Carol Jean Glenn, 98, lifelong resident of Lincoln passed away on December 15, 2023, at the Journey House. Born June 20, 1925, in Lincoln, NE to Earl and Florence (Orman) McGrew.

Carol graduated from Lincoln High School (1943) and the University of Nebraska Lincoln (1947) where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority.

Carol was a member of PEO Chapter CS-DK, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and past member of DAR, Deborah Avery Chapter.

Carol married Robert Glenn in 1946 and was a homemaker for many years. She worked in security at Brandeis Department Store from 1970 until 1982.

Family members include her daughter Susan (David) McCoy; son Stephen (Kay) Glenn, all of Lincoln; granddaughter Jennifer (Bret) Bunnell; great granddaughter Molly Bunnell, all of Avalon Park, FL; many nieces and nephews; step-grandchildren Christine (Steve) Mars, Bryan (Sondra) McCoy, Lisa McCoy, Andrea and Nina Walters; step-great grandchildren Raechel, Breann, Brittany, Brooke, Josh, Hayley, Bryan, Stella, and Logan; step great great grandson Waylon. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert J. Glenn, and brother Carl McGrew.

Private family graveside service.
