I umpired with Carlos in the 1980s. I had no idea he had such an interesting and full life. My loss. Condolences to his family on the loss of a kind man.

Carlos and Lydia are very special people. We would play volleyball at St. Paul’s old gym on Friday nights and Carlos would be in there going after the volleyball and having a grand old time! He will be missed! And Lydia, I was fortunate enough to work near her at the State. God Bless Lydia and her entire family and friends on the loss of a great man. I am sure he helped many men in the Security Unit at LRC too.

His kindness, his friendliness, open heart, can never be forgotten. Gimo and precious Lydia were the most loving Peruvian family we could get in Lincoln. Clear starry sky here in Arequipa… witness our fond memories of him and family… peace and honor accompany his descendants… while homeland, Peru, may at last start to turn to old standing and dignity.
