Bruce R. Harper, 52, died Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Lincoln. He was born June 11, 1957 in Omaha, NE to William & Darlene (Japp) Harper. He was a plumber for Quality Water Services and a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church.

Family Includes: Wife, Janice Harper, Lincoln; son, Jacob Harper, Lincoln; mother, Darlene Harper, Kennard, NE; sister and brother-in-law, Teri & Doug Wolfe, Bennington, NE; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve & Laurie Harper, Omaha, NE, Bob & Amy Harper, Kennard, NE, Merle Harper, Arlington, NE; mother-in-law, Frances Klingemann, Omaha, NE; sisters-in-law & brothers-in law, Nancy & Wes Dodge, Omaha, Wanda & Johnny Dowdy, Dallas, TX, Tom & Carla Klingemann, Omaha, NE; many nieces and nephews; one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, William Harper and father-in-law, William Klingemann.

Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Monday, June 22, 2009 at Messiah Lutheran Church 1800 South 84th, Lincoln, NE, Pastor John Kunze and Pastor Calvin L’Heureux officiating.

Visitation: 2-8 p.m., Sunday, June 21st at Roper & Sons Funeral Home 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln, NE, with family greeting friends from 5 – 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be held at Wyuka Cemetery

Memorials to be given to Messiah Lutheran Church.
