Brad Knudsen, 55, Lincoln, went to his heavenly home on Sunday (8/10/08). He was born in Lincoln, Neb. (4/9/1953) to Richard and Sally (Stebbins) Knudsen. He was an adoring husband, loving father and a faithful servant of the Lord.
Brad was an investment broker at AG Edwards/Wachovia Securities. He enjoyed golfing, the family cabin in Fremont, Friday night Mexican, Husker football and spending an abundance of time with his family. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church where he served on several boards, Men’s Bible study and was a director on the Concordia Foundation for Concordia University, Seward.
Survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Ricky; Chris and wife, Lauren; two daughters, Sarah and Cindy; father, Richard Knudsen; brother, Dave and wife, Linda Knudsen and family; sister, Nancy Joseph and family; aunts, uncles, cousins. Preceded in death by mother, Sally Knudsen.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday (8/13/08) at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1800 S. 84th St. Pastor John Kunze officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service at Lincoln Lutheran Jr/Sr. High School, 1100 N. 56th with interment at Lincoln Memorial Park cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
