Blythe U. “Rusty” Tilman, 88, of Lincoln, passed away July 7, 2015. Born May 31, 1927 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Oscar Webb and Dorothea (Thomas) Tilman. U. S. Navy Veteran. Ret. Switchman for Burlington Northern Railroad. Also, worked at the Surplus Center for many years. Active in Rosemont Alliance Chruch and taught Sunday School for many years.
Family members include his wife, Shirley L. (Biggerstaff) Tilman; children, Blythe Ayne, Terryl (Ilene Reed) Tilman, Garrick (Ronda) Tilman and Lori (Tony) Menousek; grandchildren, Benjamin (Sheryl) Grossman and Lori (Paul) Shan; siblings, Susan McCullough, Donald Tilman, Eben Tilman, Calore Van Houden. Preceded in death by parents; son, Darron Tilman; brothers, Thomas, Oscar, Jr. and Prosper; sisters, Virda and Gerda.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday (7-11-15) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St. with Jeff Petersen officiating. Burial in Oak Creek Cemetery, Raymond, NE.

Visitation beginning 9:00 a.m. Saturday with family present from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. at Roper and Sons.
