Beverly Jean Sundeen, of Lincoln passed away November 22, 2016. Born October 18, 1932 and grew up in Greenwood, NE with her parents Harold and Phoebe Miller. She graduated from Waverly H. S. Bev served as the Social Secretary at the Nebraska Governors Manson for Governors Jim Exon and Charlie Thone. Following her work at the Governor’s Mansion, Bev worked at the University of Nebraska in several positions which included the Catering Director and with the Athletic Department Training Table. It goes without saying she LOVED HER HUSKERS! Bev’s life centered around her family. She actively participated in her kids and grandchildren’s activities. Bev was a member of the Cedar Hill Methodist Church.
Survived by, sons Bob (Janice) Sundeen of Sturgis, SD, and Rick (Sally) Sundeen of Davey, grandsons Jess (Mallory) Sundeen, Davey, and Joel (Katie) Sundeen of Ft. Collins, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by her husband Dale, and her parents.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday (11-26-16) at Bethlehem Covenant Church, 18841 N. 98th, Waverly. Burial in Bethlehem Covenant Church Cemetery.
As per Bev’s wishes, memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Capital Humane Society, 6500 S. 70th (16) and Alzheimer’s Association, 1500 S. 70th, Suite 201 (06).
