Bette L. Phillips, 83, of Lincoln, died Sunday (2-24-13). Born (1-26-30) in Crab Orchard, NE to Emory L. and Opal Lucille (Jewell) Garner. Ret. Records Clerk at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, graduate of Loop Co. High School. Worked at Dorsey Labs from 1950-1960. Member: Christ United Methodist Church.
Survived by husband, Charles; son, Steven (Melody) Phillips, Lincoln; grandchildren, Brandi Phillips, Robert Steven Phillips, and Katie Armstrong; great grandchildren, Haylie and Cody Chapman; sister; Jean Harden, Taylor, NE; brothers, Richard (Carolyn) Garner, Lincoln, Dan (Shirley) Garner, Osmond, NE; brother-in-law, Ivan Ferguson, Burwell, NE; sister-in-law, Janice Garner, Lincoln. Preceded in death by parents, brother John Thomas Garner; sister Anabel Ferguson ; brother-in-law Charles Harden.
