Barbara Ruth Schildman, 72, of Lincoln, passed away March 25, 2019. Born November 15, 1946 in Lincoln, NE to George Joseph and Alice (Burnett) Schildman.
Barbara worked as a dishwasher for Bryan Memorial Hospital for over 33 years retiring in 2004.
Family members include her sisters Shirley Schildman, her twin by 3 minutes, Lincoln and Nancy Kemptar, North Platte; 3 nieces; 2 great-nephews; 4 great-nieces; cousins Cathy and Kerry Galloway, Kathie and Tim Ream, Jan and Brad Lusink, John and Wanda Bergschneider, Jane Bergschneider, and Dave and Kendra Swain. Preceded in death by her parents.
Things she liked: dogs, word search, square dancing, fishing, and bus trips. She was a soft, gentle soul and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday (3-30-19) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
Memorials to the Capital Humane Society or National Kidney Foundation.
Visitation will be Friday (3-29-19) from 3 – 8 p.m. at Roper and Sons.
