Amanda Selma Matilda Stoner

Amanda Selma Matilda Stoner, 101, of Lincoln passed away August 15, 2019. Born February 18, 1918 in Cook, NE to Charlie J. and Hattie (Puppe) Pieper. Ret. in 1974 after 18 years as cook at Bryan Hospital. Former member of First-Plymouth Congregational Church. Amanda loved quilting and embroidering.

Family members include her son Jerry; daughter Paula Peet; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; husband Hadsell; infant son; daughter Carol Sabin; son-in-law Gene Peet; 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (8-20-19) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.

Committal Service will be 1:30 p.m. in Unadilla Cemetery.

Memorials to American Cancer Society.

Visitation with family greeting friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
