Amanda Jean Nielsen, 32, Lincoln, passed away January 2, 2017. Born August 6, 1984 in Lincoln, NE to Robert Clayton and Linda Jean (Kapperman) Voss. Amanda worked in the call center for Ameritas Life Insurance Company. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and children, going to garage sales with her mother, and when she was younger she loved sewing, camping, dancing and piano. Married to Drew Nielsen on September 6, 2008.
Family members include her husband, Drew; children, Gianna, Layla, and Remy Nielsen, Hayden and Luke Neves; parents, Robert and Linda Voss, Lincoln; brother, Cory (Pamela) Voss, Springfield, NE; sister, Amy Bolton, Lincoln; maternal grandmother, Ellen Kapperman, Seward. Preceded in death by brother, David and 4 grandparents.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday (1-7-16) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
