Amalia “Molly” Kimmel, 86, Lincoln, died Thursday (9-18-08). Born Bayard, NE (4-20-1922) to Adam and Amalia (Schmall) Haas. Homemaker. Charter member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Alliance and church organist for many years. Former 4-H director and piano teacher.
Family members include son, daughter-in-law: James and Anne Kimmel, Franklin, TN; daughters-in-law, spouses: Cindy and David Sautter, Micki and Jim Weinman; grandchildren: Jay Seiler, Mike, Scott, Mark and Brian Kimmel, Kelley Falkner, Elizabeth Lang, Krystal Kimmel, Katy Ament, Jenni Foster; 10 great grandchildren; sister: Rosie Wacker; brother: John Haas; nieces, nephews, cousins. Preceded in death by parents, husband – Henry A., sons – David Gene and Frederick John, daughter – Deborah Patrice Seiler, special friend – Paul Basler, 6 brothers, 1 sister.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday (9-22-08) St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2090 Emerson Avenue, Alliance, NE. Rev. Larry Spomer officiating. Burial in the Alliance Cemetery.
