Allen L. Drewes, 78, passed away peacefully to join his loving wife and our mom on August 23, 2013. Allen had a passion for cars. This led him to open his own business, A & D Auto Sales at 19th and N with his wife, Jeanie for over 40 years. One of the oldest private owned auto businesses in the Lincoln area and dedicated to the Lincoln community providing affordable vehicles. Our father will be missed by family and friends he left behind.
Family members include his daughters, Marion (Tracy) Bryant, Kathy (Randy) Kaufman; step-son, Fredrick (Tina) Reichel and John Reichel; grandchildren, Chelsea and Michael Donovan, Dustin, Tiffany and Brandon Kaufman; great-granddaughter, Hailie Donovan; brother, Delmar Drewes. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Eugenia and three brothers.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Wednesday (8-28-13) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
