Alice Victoria “Vicky’ Breidenstine, 76, Lincoln, died Sunday (6-7-09). Born (12-19-32) in Greensboro, North Carolina to Kyle and Maie (Jackson) Prevo. Married to Lester Earl Breidenstine, Sr. on April 28, 1951. Alice is known in Nebraska City for her years of dedicated work at the Nebraska City Manor as a nurses aide and care staff member. Following her retirement she often volunteered her services with the residents at the Manor and other church groups.
She is survived by son: Lester Earl Breidenstine, Jr., Beaver Crossing, NE; daughters: Karen Lynn Gardner, Topock, AZ, Ann Marie West, Waverly, NE; grandchildren: Joshua Ray West and Nicole Rae West, Lincoln; sisters: Cleo Manuel, Galena Park, TX, Barbara Wandell, Green Lane, PA; brothers: Willie Prevo, Bowie, MD, Donald Prevo, Stockbridge, GA. Preceded in death by parents, brothers: Kyle Thomas Prevo, Jr., Thomas Homer Prevo, sister: Gladys Cates.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday (6-12-09) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln, Nebraska with Pastor Scott Hecht officiating. 1:00 p.m. interment in Wyuka Cemetery, Nebraska City.
