Obituary

Alexandor James Eskra

March 3, 2003 - July 3, 2022

Alexandor James Eskra was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on March 3, 2003, to loving parents, Jacqulyn Jepsen and Douglas Eskra.

As a young boy, Alex was always caring and loving towards others. He always tried to help those that needed it whether it was at school, his soccer team, or with his family and friends. He loved animals, going on fishing trips, camping and playing in the yard. Unlike most young kids he loved broccoli and disliked macaroni and cheese. He was a great student and really enjoyed learning about history.

As a young adult, Alex loved riding his bike, celebrating the Fourth of July and grew a fascination with cars and electronics. He would tear apart electronics just to rebuild them, built his own computer, and started learning everything he could about motor engines and mechanics. Alex participated in the Zoo School program during high school which focused on math and science learning. He ran track, worked on mastering the German (Deutsch) language and spent time with his friends and girlfriend. He loved cars and rebuilding them with his cousins and grandpa.

Alex graduated from Lincoln High school in May 2021 and was looking forward to starting college. Alex spent his summer after high school working, making memories with his family and friends, and traveling. He loved to travel to scenic locations where he could hike and take in the spectacular views. He started working at Barnyard Garage as a Car Wiring Engineer where he was rewiring race cars and assisting in classic car restorations. Alex completed his first semester of college at Southeast Community College in the academic transfer program where he intended to transfer to the University of Nebraska in Lincoln to the Electrical Engineering program.

Alexandor is survived in life by his parents Jacqulyn Jepsen, and Douglas and Haley Eskra; sibling Leland Eskra; maternal grandparents Jody and James Bridges and Doug and Irina Jepsen; paternal grandparents Janet and Charles Eskra and step-grandparents Nancy Whitney and Craig Hilligas and Lori Petersen; paternal great grandma Patricia Eskra; several aunts, uncles and cousins Christal Jepsen and Jerry James (Sophie, Caiden, and Jerren), Melissa Eskra (Zane), Matthew Eskra (Jaden, Addison, and Carson); step-aunt, uncle, and cousins Masha and Brian Wagnor (Max, Diana, Victoria, Anabella, Lilly); as well as numerous extended family members, friends, and his girlfriend Givanna Nguyen.

Alexandor is preceded in death by maternal great grandparents Lawrence and Evelyn Jepsen, Rollie and Betty Anderson; paternal great grandparents Neva and James Hawks, and Charles Eskra; maternal aunt Christina Jepsen; and cousin Christopher.

Memorial service will be on Friday, 7/22/2022 at 2pm at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohenseen Dr. (40th and Yankee Hill). There will be a reception to follow.

Memorials can be provided to the family for future designation.

Alex was in my home many times over the past few years. My step-son Jacob has been friends since 7th grade. My son has gotten to know him in last 4 years. They have many memories together. Riding dirt bikes, going to the drag races, working on cars and computers. College lunch at my house with dry ramen being a choice. He was a smart, great kid, he will be dearly missed.
