At a young age, Ahmed lived with his uncle in Sudan. He was the fourth child and had ten siblings: Amuor, Manyok, Akuol, Gatluak, Majok, Akoi, Adau and Athok (twins), and Nyibol.
Ahmed attended elementary and high school in Wad Madani, Sudan and graduated from the University of Omdurman. He immigrated to Egypt and then to the United States.
Funeral service: 9:30 am Saturday, March 15, 2025, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 6001 A Street. Burial in Wyuka Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 8:00 am Saturday until service time at the church.
