Agnes (Drda) McGuire, 88, Lincoln, died Thursday (4-24-08). Born on a farm near Wilber, NE (1-6-1920) to Lumir and Anna (Dvorak) Drda. Graduated from Wilber High School. Married Robert (Mick) McGuire in Washington, D.C. (12-1-1942). Agnes worked for several families in Lincoln, then for the Civil Service Administration in Washington, D.C. and Omaha and at Western Electric for 18 years.
Family members include husband of 66 years: Robert (Mick); brother, sister-in-law: Larry and Kathy Drda, Norfolk; brother-in-law: Dick McGuire, Freeland, WA; nieces, nephews: Theresa Drda, Evanston, IL; Steve Drda, Lincoln; Paul Drda, Denver, CO; special friends: Margaret Lyden and Lydia Gibson, Lincoln. Preceded in death by parents, one brother.
