Agnes D. Hauschild, 94, Lincoln, died Thursday (2-21-08). Born Brainard, NE (7-27-1913) to Anton and Matilda (Sedlak) Navratil. Ret. Goodyear, 24 years. Met her husband, Albert Strizek in Brainard and moved to a farm near Agnew, Nebraska. After Albert passed away she moved to Lincoln with her son. Later married Raymond Hauschild. They resided in Ashland. After Ray passed away she returned to Lincoln.
Agnes was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church; Catholic Daughters; Extension Club and was a volunteer at Saint Elizabeth’s hospital gift shop for many years.
Family members include grandchildren, spouses: Linda & Mike McQuiston, Aurora; Nancy & Dave Allder, Lincoln; Greg Strizek & Deb Wituski, Falls Church, VA; Pat & Tricia Strizek; Ann & Tony Cech, all of Lincoln; great grandchildren: Laura & Ben McQuiston; Dale & Scott Allder; Alexandra Strizek; Noah & Kendall Strizek; sister: Eleanor Svoboda, Bruno; nieces; nephews and many friends. Preceded in death by husbands: Albert & Raymond; son, daughter-in-law: LeRoy & Joan Strizek; 4 sisters; 5 brothers; grandson: Mike.
Rosary: 7:00 p.m. Sunday (2-24-08) Roper & Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
Funeral Mass: 1:00 p.m. Monday (2-25-08) St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1940 South 77th St. Msgr Liam M. Barr officiating. 3:30 p.m. burial in the Ashland Cemetery.
Visitation: Noon – 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Roper & Sons
