Adeline Mae Sahs

Adeline Mae Sahs, 94, widow of Melvin Dale Sahs passed away February 6, 2018 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Born September 29, 1923 to Gus W. and Elizabeth (Pheiffer) Rehmus in Hoskins, NE.

Married Melvin Dale Sahs on May 4, 1944. Member of Christ Lutheran Church, Lincoln; Lutheran Women’s Missionary League; Wednesday morning Bible classes. She was always giving Bibles, catechisms and booklets to people she met to share God’s love. School Teacher during WWII, teaching Business in Elgin, NE; loved her children and grandchildren; loved to play bridge, cooking, painting, flower gardening; lived in Schuyler, NE from 1953-1997; member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Schuyler.

Adeline is survived by her children, Ann (Terrence) Grasmick of Los Angeles, Charles (Linda) Sahs of Columbus, Fred (Sherri) Sahs of Ft. Worth, TX, Sally (Rick) Imig of Austin, TX, Patti (Gregg) Fusselman of Lincoln, Jean (Steve) Moody of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Tyler (Alla Rockwell) Grasmick & Carter Grasmick, Nicholas (Amanda Herout) Sahs & Hailee Sahs (Hunter Carter), Hunter, Dillion and Austin Sahs, Jill (Bryan) Komlos, Robert (Rachel) Imig, Ashley (Jonathan) Curtis, Justin (Allison) Rediger, Kevin (Becky) Fusselman and Carly Davis, Liam & John Moody; great grandchildren, Raven, Callan and Adeline Rediger, Hudson and Harrison Carter; sister, Alvera Lewman of Ontario, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother-in-law, Walt Lewman.

Funeral Service 11:00 am Friday February 9, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner St., Lincoln, NE with visitation one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

Memorials to: Lutheran World Relief, Orphan Grain Train or to Christ Schools.
