Aaron Thomas Wylder

February 12, 1932 - November 8, 2009

Aaron Thomas Wylder, 33, Waverly, died Sunday (11-8-09). Born (2-12-76) in Lincoln, Nebraska to William and Bernice (Johnson) Wylder. Member: Prairie Home United Methodist Church. A graduate of Waverly High School 1994 where he was a member and president of the Waverly FFA Chapter and also a member of the golf team. He attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln from 1994-1996. He enjoyed taking tickets at the Husker football games, welding and working with his hands. Aaron was a loving father active in his son’s cub-scouts, wrestling, soccer, baseball and football.

Family members include sons: Damien, age 10, Maverick, age 9, Waverly; parents: William and Bernice Wylder, Waverly; sisters, brothers-in-law: Chris and Jamie Cox; Maralee and Jeff Maldavs; brother: Dustin Crist, all of Lincoln; step-grandmother: Afton Johnson, Red Lodge, MT; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents, William and Ila Wylder and Leonard and Lila Johnson.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday (11-14-09) First United Methodist Church, 14410 Folkestone, Waverly, NE. Pastor James Wallasky officiating. Private inurnment at a later date.

Memorials in lieu of flowers to Damien and Maverick Wylder Scholarship Fund c/o Horizon Bank, 10841 North 142nd, Waverly, Nebraska 68462.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel, 10851 North 148th Street, Waverly, Nebraska.
