Bob was a classmate of mine. We graduated from Holdrege High School in 1966. I missed seeing him at reunions and his name came up when we had our recent reunion. He was always a kind person whom I enjoyed knowing. Please accept our sympathy in your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bob was one of the greatest guys I ever met. I’ll never forget the night before his wedding to Martha. I was a little kid and he comes in through the front door of Martha’s parents house wearing these big a!/ cowboy boots with a brown Stetson on. When my own son was about 12, he earned his first dollar winning a silly bet on the golf course with Bob. My kid hit the ball about 250 off the tee. Bob hit about 255 into a sand trap. My kid chips to 5 feet and birdies the hole. Bob makes a 4. I’m retired and I got to spend an hour with him privately last summer. We talked about how we envisioned retirement. Nothing matched up with what we envisioned, but he had kids and grandkids that made his life complete. RIP BOB.

Bob was the most amazing boss and friend. I will never forgot the day when we first met and he said “Did your mom drop you off at work?” Haha. I will sure miss my friend. Hugs to the family in this difficult time.

My condolences to the Bonner family. I worked every day with Bob for a couple of years, he was a great guy. We partnered in golf on our work league and he carried me on that team, even after his back surgery! Bob had a somewhat twisted sense of humor, and I think that’s why we became good friends. He will be missed.
