Steven J. McGill, 66, Waverly, died Monday (6-13-11) in Lincoln. Born (5-9-45) to Harold and Helen (Bevans) McGill. U.S. Navy Veteran. Machinist, Parker Hannifan Corporation. Member: Hallam Congregational United Church of Christ where he was also in the church choir, and also a member of the Cedar Hill United Methodist Church, Camp Creek Thrashers, E.A.A. (Experimental Aircraft Association) and the Grange.
Family members include wife: Lynnette; sisters, brothers-in-law: Linda and Floyd Anderson, Johnson Lake, Kathy and Whitey Hildreth, Lincoln, Louise David, Carol McGill, Susan McGill, all of Roca; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews. Preceded in death by parents and infant sister Sarah.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday (6-17-11) Hallam Congregational United Church of Christ, 205 N. Harrison. The Reverend Daniel J. Davis, Sr., officiating. 10:00 a.m. graveside service at the Hallam Cemetery with full military graveside rites.
