Shirley A. McGrath, 76, passed away on September 27, 2016 in Lincoln, NE. Born August 10, 1940, in Memphis, NE. She was a Lincoln Northeast High School graduate.
Survivors include, daughters, Robin (Mike) Byerly, Donna (Steve) Dare; sons, Robert (Becky) McGrath, Rodney (Elizabeth) McGrath; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Delores Bartlett, Donna Mach, and Beverly Theye; brother, Raleigh (Mary) Owen; many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; son, Rueben; brother and sister in law, Carl and Joyce Owen; brothers in law, Walt Theye, and Leonard McGrath.
Funeral Service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday (10-1-16) at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 ‘O’ St. Visitation with family greeting friends will be held Friday (9-30-16) from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Roper and Sons Funeral Home. Burial at Fairview Cemetery.
