Tad Tippit Christensen, 95, of Lincoln, passed away August 31, 2016. Born November 18, 1920 in Austin, Texas to Maurice J. and Marian M. (Patterson) Scanlon. Ret. 1986, after 24 years as a Registered Nurse in the ER at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Tad also served in the U. S. Navy Nurses Corp during WWII. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
Family members include her daughters and son in law, Marian Christensen and Buck Noland, St. Peters, MO, Patricia “Trish” Thurow, Acworth, GA and Nancy Christensen, Aurora, CO; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Tim Tippit, Greenwood, LA. Preceded in death by her husband, Maurice “MO’ Christensen and a granddaughter, Amy Lynn Thurow.
