Martin Don Bubb, 84, of Lincoln, passed away April 1, 2016. He was born on October 23, 1931 in Lincoln, NE to Martin H. and Mary (Wegner) Bubb. Don attended University High School, St. John’s in Winfield, KS and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He married Nola Neeman in 1956.
Don was a finance manager for 33 years. He also was a Sunday school teacher and superintendent for many years at the American Lutheran Church before becoming a member of Southwood Lutheran Church. He loved working with Little Chiefs baseball.
Family members include his wife of 60 years, Nola; sons, David (Kim) and Daniel (Kathy) Bubb; grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Stacie, Kendra and Kyle Bubb; sisters, Willa (Ken) Kritner, Rose Klintworth; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Noma (Gale) Cratsenberg, Judy Neeman; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brother-in-law, Ted Klintworth.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (4-5-16) Southwood Lutheran Church, 4301 Wilderness Hills Blvd. with Pastor Michael Ryan officiating. Prior private burial.
