Sylvia Mae Zeola Cavanaugh, 77, of Lincoln, NE passed away May 30, 2015. Born April 2, 1938 in St. James, MN to Fredrick Henry and Augusta Mathilda (Urban) Frentz.

Survived by, Very special friend, Clyde Verhoeff, Lincoln; Daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine (Cavanaugh) and Virgilee Haase, Lincoln; Sons, Lynn Cavanaugh, Lincoln, Layne Frentz, Gunnison, CO; Granddaughter, Desiree Clancy and great granddaughter Bobbie Gayle Shaw, Ashland, NE; Grandsons, Joshua Frentz, Riverside, CA and Kyle Cavanaugh, Nebraska; Sisters, Esther Habben, Modesto, CA, Fern Thiem, Lincoln, NE, and Sharon Van Gilder, Sioux Falls, SD; Sister-in-laws, Lilly-Beth Frentz, Minnesota, and Pat Frentz, Arizona, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband Duane Lee Cavanaugh, Sr.; Parents Fred and Augusta (Urban) Frentz; Son, Duane Lee Cavanaugh, Jr.; Sisters, Hildegard Klatt, Viola Whalen, Dorothy Fischer, Evelyn Malmgren, Gladys Sanders, Lauretta Willard; Brothers, Raymond Frentz, Maynard Frentz, Martin (Butch) Frentz; Brother-in-laws, Walter Klatt, Dean Whalen, Clarence Fischer, Art Malmgren, Marland Sanders, Ray Willard, Rolland Habben, Joe Thiem, and George Can Gilder; Sister-in-laws, Pat Frentz; step grandchild, Justin Haase. Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday (6-4-15) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St. with Pastor James Irwin officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Memorials to the family for future designation.

Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Wednesday with family present from 6-8 p.m. at Roper and Sons.
