Lonnie C. Peterson, 79, of Lincoln, passed away on March 24, 2017. Born August 15, 1937 to Harry and Jesse (Roepke) Peterson in Barnes, KS. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, and worked as a Draftsman at Nebraska Boiler, Gordon & Morgan, and Cyclonaire.
He is survived by his children, Terri (Robert) McWilliams, Jodi Hiskey, Bill (Kim) Stolzer, Kurt Stolzer, Pamela (Jeff) Ogren, Karen (John) Seacrest; grandchildren, Chris (Dillan) Durham, Michelle (Evan) Andersen, Kelly Hiskey, Brian Hiskey, Tyler (Kessalee) Ogren, Kyle Ogren; great grandchildren, James and Carter Durham and Taelyn Andersen. Preceded in death by his parents; wives, Elaine and Barbara; brother, Willard Peterson; sister, Dorothy Wise.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday (3-28-17) at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 ‘O’ St., with Pastor David Lux officiating. A public visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m., Monday (3-27-17), with family present from 7-8 p.m. at Roper and Sons Funeral Home. Burial at Maplewood Cemetery in Barnes, KS at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday (3-28-17).
