Alberta S. Siemens, 95, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Born July 4, 1917 in Buhler, Kan. to George and Mary (Franz) Ediger. Retired 1984, Back to the Bible print shop operator. Member: Indian Hills Community Church. Alberta enjoyed sewing.
Family members include daughters: Janice Kay Bohmer, Hartford, Wis., Eunice Marie (Gene) Thummel, Springfield, Mo., Yvonne Vermaas and Lois (David) DeLashmutt, all of Lincoln; son, Jay Siemens, Lincoln; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Florence Epp, Derby, Kan.; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Erwin, parents, brother Arnold, sister Pearl Marie, sons-in-law Bill Bohmer and Myron Brindley.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Pastor Eddie Masters officiating.
Visitation: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday with family greeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., funeral home.
