David W. Reinke, 60, of Lincoln, died Wednesday (12-19-12). Born (9-10-52) in Deshler, NE to Werner and Olga (Kniep) Reinke. Production Engineer at Kawasaki Motors for 31 years. Member of First Evangelical Free Church.
Survived by his wife, Kathy; sons, Carl and Andrew; daughter, Heidi Reinke, all of Lincoln; mother, Olga Reinke, Davenport, NE; sisters, Judy (Mike) Sivey, Boise, ID, Donna Meyer, Davenport, NE, Karen (Gary) Haake, Oak, NE, Mary (James) West, Malcolm, NE; brother, Stan (Mary) Reinke, Edgar, NE; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his father Werner.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday (12-22-12) at First Evangelical Free Church, 3300 South 84th Street with Pastor Mark Brunott officiating. Burial in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Walton, NE.
Memorials in lieu of flowers to Lincoln Crisis Pregnancy Center or Lincoln Christian School.
Visitation: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday with family greeting friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street and one hour prior to service time at the church.
