Karyn Lindner, age 51 of Lincoln, NE was taken into the arms of our Lord on May 29, 2012. Born in Wayne, NE on July 10, 1960 to Hermann and Emilie Lindner, Karyn was a big fan of music, especially Michael Jackson. She loved to sing and made friends wherever she went. She was an active member of the Special Olympics winning many medals in swimming and track & field. Karyn also traveled across the country with her family on many vacations. She is loved and will be missed by all.
Karyn is survived by her father Hermann Lindner of Wayne, NE; brothers and sisters Harry (Andrea) Lindner of Norfolk, NE; Gerda (Tom) Dorcey of Boston, MA; Ella (John) Williams of Columbus, NE; Paul (Jodi) Lindner of Wayne, NE; Cindy (Steve Ferguson) Lindner of Lincoln, NE and Susen (Larry) Jobst of Lincoln, NE; along with 16 Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Mother Emilie Lindner, the Love of her Life Rick Kenny and one infant Nephew.
Funeral services to be held on Friday, June 1st at 9:00am at Christ United Methodist Church, 4530 “A” street, Lincoln, NE with Reverend Jim Miller presiding.
A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Wayne NE on June 1st at 3:00pm with Karyn’s nephew Father Ted Dorcey presiding.
