Dean A. Henggeler

Dean A. Henggeler, 84, Lincoln, died Wednesday (1-4-12), Born (5-27-27) in Cornlea, Nebraska to Peter and Mary (Dischner) Henggeler. Ret. Field Service Representative for Seal-Rite Windows for 36 years.

One of Dean’s hobbies was to meet a new person every day. He had many friends and no one was a stranger. He loved people. Dean was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for over 60+ years.

Family members include son: Darrell Henggeler and fiancé Leslie Childs; daughters, sons-in-law: Del Ann and Bernard Divis, Deborah and Jeffrey Altman, Denise and Marlin Roesler, all of Lincoln; grandchildren, spouses: Amberly and Dr. Matthew Byington, Bridget and David Easley, Evan Divis, Alex Divis, Keith Henggeler, Mary Sell, Lucas and Corinne Roesler and Jenna Altman; great grandchildren: Jonathan Sell, Ethan Easley, and soon to be one more; brother: Peter Henggeler, Jr., Lincoln; sisters: Helen Witt, Lincoln, Mary Ann Holscher, Washington State, Margie Dawson, Lincoln, Patricia Gibbons, Missouri. Preceded in death by parents, wife Dorothy, brother Wilfred and sister Laverne.

Rosary: 7:00 p.m. Friday (1-6-12) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Saturday (1-7-12) St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 6126 Morrill Ave. Fr. Troy Schweiger and Msgr. Paul Witt, officiating. Burial in Lincoln Memorial Park.

Memorials to the church. Visitation: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Roper and Sons and one hour prior to service time at the church.
