Taylon Douglas Artman, 15, of Eagle, passed away Tuesday (8-27-13). Born (9-17-97) in Lincoln, NE to Rick and Lori (Minchow) Artman. Attended Lincoln East High School. Taylon enjoyed playing basketball, wrestling, baseball and skateboarding. An avid Vikings fan. He always looked to serve to help others, especially the less fortunate. Taylon was a caring, protective and serving individual with a great sense of humor.
Family members include his father, Rick Artman; mother, Lori Minchow, both of Eagle; brothers, Casey McNeil and Shane Artman; grandparents, Wayne and Carol Minchow, Tecumseh, Donna Artman, Eagle, Albert Grossman, Bennet; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by uncle, Doug Minchow and great grandparents.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (9-3-13) St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. Burial in Eagle Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Taylon Artman Memorial Fund c/o of Horizon Bank in Waverly.
Visitation: 2-8 pm Monday with family greeting friends from 6-8 pm at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ St.
