Willard “Bill” Essman, 92, Lincoln, died Tuesday (1-3-12). Born (11-5-19) in Plymouth, Nebraska to William and Amelia (Brolhorst) Essman. WWII U. S. Army Veteran (1942-1945) served with the 2nd Armored Div. Member of the American Legion Post #3 and V.F.W. Post #131.
Family members include wife of 65 years: JoAnn (Amos); son: Steven (Crystal Andersen), Lincoln; daughters: Sandra Ohlrich (Roger), Lincoln, Jean Cox (Kim), Purdum, NE; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister: Laura; brother: Harold. Preceded in death by brothers, Elmer and Tim, sisters, Rosetta and Leona , son-in-law, Ronald Mehaffie.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday (1-6-12) Lincoln Memorial Park, 6800 South 14th Street. Pastor Renae Johnson, officiating. Please meet at Gate 2.
