William C. Criswell, 79, Lincoln, died Sunday (1-22-12) surrounded by family and friends. Born (3-18-32) in Jasper County, Iowa to Ted and Lillian (Asberry) Criswell. Ret. Master Sargent Jet Technician, Air National Guard. U. S. Air Force Veteran. Member: Havelock United Methodist Church, Harlem, Nebraska American Legion Post. William was an honest, wonderful , simple man, he never knew a stranger. He was a John Deere and Chevy enthusiast. Loved camping and spending time with his family. He and his grandson shared an interest in airplanes.
Family members include his wife: Addie Mae; son, daughter-in-law: Carlon and Michelle Criswell, Greenwood, NE; daughters, sons-in-law: Cinthia and Mike Pogge, Council Bluffs, IA, Carilee Shoemake, Lincoln, Cayleen and Darrick Weeks, Centerville, OH; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday (1-26-12) Havelock United Methodist Church, 4140 North 60th. Pastor Chuck Cornwell, Officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum.
