Lonnie was my best friend since 7th grade. We shared politics and football in great 2 hour phone conversations. I helped him with his upstair renovation that we were not able to finish for him to get him moved out of the basement. He was the jock, and I was far from it. Lonnie was always there for me when I needed an emergency ride. Just a call and he was there for me. I will miss that man more then anyone would know.

Lonnie was my first soccer coach. His son Josh was my partner in crime from kindergarten through middle school. Lonnie was a great coach and mentor. I still have my trophies in a box from our team “Raiders”. Rest in peace coach!

Lonnie was my brother linebacker for Lincoln Northeast for the 1972 Co-Champions for Class A. He will be remembered for his great stories, his Hugh personality and mostly for his friendship. Rest in Peace brother, keep a place warm for me as I will be there shortly.
