December 2, 2025

To Justine’s family, I am so saddened to hear of the death of your mother. She was a longtime very special friend of my mother, Roberta Brown. (My mother passed away in 2023). I have special memories of Justine and of the group of women that did special things together and really cared for one another. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

To Justine’s family—Justine and I worked at Bankers Life Nebraska (now Ameritas) in the same department for several years. She was a great worker, and a friend to everyone. One day I was sharing with her my “noon-time” experience with Montgomery Ward in Gateway, and how helpful the clerk was. That was Ben, Justine’s husband. It has been a few years since I saw her, but that does not lessen the sorrow that I have. You’re in our prayers.
