Steven K. O’Connor, 45, Lincoln, died Sunday (1-6-08) at his home. Born Council Bluffs, IA (2-4-1962) to Gerald and Julia (Masters) O’Connor. Manufacturing Processing Engineer. Disabled the past six years. Avid computer enthusiast, loved poetry and cats. Avid Husker football fan and had an extensive hat collection.
Family members include parents; sons, daughter-in-law: Jason K. & Katie O’Connor; Jeff M. O’Connor & significant other Jennifer Pierce; grandchildren: Jordan J. O’Connor and Austin D. O’Connor, all of Lincoln; sister, brother-in-law: Cynthia & Craig Dice, Eagle; nephew: Tanner J. Dice.
Funeral Mass: 1:00 p.m. Thursday (1-10-08) St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine St. Father Lyle Johnson officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation: Noon – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ St. and one hour prior to service time at the Church.
