Music brought her a lot of joy in life and she loved the Rolling Stones most of all. She loved them so much she named her first and only pet cat, Mick, after their lead singer. Among others, she saw the Stones a total of 14 times and loved telling everyone she could.
After a few jobs she finally found a career as Computer technician at Northeast High School and after 30 years Beth retired in 2015. Keeping busy after retirement was easy with the lifetime of family and friends who she loved spending time with.
Beth passed peacefully at home after a short bout with pancreatic cancer. She is survived by, daughter Michelle Albers (Grant), Sioux Falls, SD; sons Daniel Franzen and Neil Franzen (Christy), all of Lincoln; grandchildren Allison Conzemius, Lincoln, Petra and Katie Conzemius, Sioux Falls, SD, Rebecca, Hailey, Holden, James, Christopher, Danae Franzen, and Kena Cox, all of Lincoln; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, son Eric Franzen, grandson Eric Franzen, brothers Kenneth, Lyle, and Gerald Witham.
Funeral service: 10:00 am Tuesday, October 14, 2025, Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 O Street. Interment in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation with family present from 6-7:30 pm on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel.
