An avid artist with a passion for drawing, Calvin found joy in creating portraits of people who he admired. He followed all of the Husker sports but his home was still with the Buckeyes. He was a compassionate father, grandfather, and great grandfather who adored his family above all else. Calvin dedicated his professional life to long-haul truck driving for many years and was also a proud U.S. Marine Sergeant. He served in the Vietnam War as a rifle marksman, and was decorated with the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign and Service Medals, Combat Action Ribbon, and the Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.
Calvin is survived by daughter, Michele (Leonard) Clark; sons, Ryan (Sallie) Williams and James (Jessica) Williams, all of Lincoln, NE; his brothers, Berl Williams, Donald (Amy) Williams, Sam (Janie) Williams, and Ted (Sondra) Williams; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
