Walter W. Dring, 77, Lincoln, NE, died Friday, (2-27-09). Born (5-20-31) in Velva, ND the son of George and Madeline (Schnieble) Dring. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a retired sheet metal worker for Western Electric/AT&T. He was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers-Western Electric/AT&T.
Survivors include: sons, daughters-in-law: Steven W. & Susan Tulee-Dring, Fremont, CA, Bryan & Priscilla Dring, Omaha, NE; sisters, Cloe Wasson, Pearl Eman, both of Minot, ND, Ester Hillman, St. Paul, MN; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert and James Dring, sister, Elizabeth Horner.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday (3-4-09), Roper & Sons Chapel, 4300 “O” St., Lincoln, NE.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, (2-3-09) until service time at the funeral home, with family greeting friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday.
