Was privileged to have Dean as my science teacher for a couple of years and eventually as principal at VHS. The man knew his rocks and archery hunting. Used to see him occasionally at the Nebraska State Office building. Good teacher. He will be missed.

Memories of Dr.Bergman as our principal at VHS. A wonderful kind man. I had a chance to visit with him briefly when I began a job for Cedar Bluffs Public. The world just got a little smaller without him in it. He will be missed. Sympathy to his family for their loss!

I had the opportunity to archery hunt with Dean on a few occasions years ago including being ‘lost in the wilderness’ while north of the artic circle in Alaska. He was a great and interesting person to know with a witty sense of humor that I enjoyed, he will be missed by all that know him.

Sincere condolences for the loss of one so special in your life. Know that the smiles, laughter, and kindness Dr. Bergman always shared with others throughout his life will be forever remembered by all who ever met him. May his countless, fine memories forever warm your hearts and bring smiles to your faces, even behind tears shed. Know that death was never God’s plan (Gen. 1:28; Rom. 5:12) so he gives us hope. (Acts 24:15; Ps. 37:11,29) Cherish the hope and your beloved husband/father memories.
