Jack E. Davis

March 12, 1934 - May 14, 2024

Jack E. Davis, 90, of Lincoln, NE, passed away on May 14, 2024. He was born on March 12, 1934, in Milwaukee, WI, to Ross and Opal (Bass) Davis.

Jack graduated from Central High School in Omaha and continued his education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He married Ruth Kleinert in 1956, and they had two daughters together, Lisa and Kim. Jack was the founder of Stockwell Pharmacy in 1966.

Jack enjoyed his family, friends, golf, golf friends of many years, and being active in church. He was a member of First-Plymouth Congregational Church.

He is survived by his wife Ruth; daughter Kim (Bob) Pluenneke; grandchildren Jack (Danielle) and Molly; and his many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa, and his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM, on Monday, May 20, 2024, at First Plymouth Congregational Church, 2000 D St.

Denny and I will always treasure our times with Jack. He was on Deacon board with us, shared many dinners with him and Ruth and had the love of golf as a common interest. We will miss him!
