She attended Kearney State Teachers College (now UNK), and Westminster College, Salt Lake City, UT., where she taught elementary school for many years.
She also enjoyed selling dining car china at railroad memorabilia shows.
Family includes husband Ernest ‘Ernie’, of Lincoln; son Charles ‘Chuck’ (Kerry) Dorius, Cedaredge, CO; daughter Jane (Mark) Brinckerhoff, Littleton, CO; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister Louise Rainier and brother Don A. Chandler.
