I have such lovely memories of Cheri, John and their girls when they were little. For a few years I lived directly across the street with my grandmother Helen Gilmore. I was in high school then. Cheri would come over once or twice a week and chat with my beloved grandma. Often the girls would be with her too. It brought great joy when they visited. We’d all have a “tea party”; grandma had a huge collection of fine China tea cups and saucers from all over the world. The collection I own today. Her girls would always have so much fun picking out which glass they wanted to drink tea out of each time. Grandma would tell a story about each tea cup. Grandma always had special cookies for the girls to have with their tea. Later in life, I got another chance to spend time with Cheri. A mutual friend of ours named Belinda and I and Sherry would go for long walks on the bike path in the Northborough neighborhood. It was so much fun reminiscing with her and about my grandma who have passed on. I enjoyed hearing about the girls (who were now grown) and how their lives evolved. She was so proud. I didn’t hear about Cheri’s passing until just now or I would have attended her funeral. I would have in honor and adoration of just what a loving, sweet person she was. I will never forget the joy she brought to my grandma Helen and the memories I share with her too. I smile and am filled with warmth when I think of/imagine Cheri & Helen having a cup of tea and chatting away once again in Heaven. ~ Cathy

Cheri was one of the kindest, most loving person I knew. I was so proud to call her friend. We had lost touch with each other for some time. Last year she reached out to me. I was so grateful that we were able to reconnect, even though it was for a short time. I will truly miss her.
