Emilio was a student at Lincoln High School. He had a very contagious laugh, attitude and smile. He was very loving and compassionate. He loved life and was never afraid to try or do anything. His love for his family was infectious and beautiful. Emilio could make any situation better with his bright smile and witty personality. He was loved by all he came to know. Everyone who knew Emilio knew what love felt like!
Family members include his parents, Jose Artiaga, Jr. and Christinia Armstrong; siblings Andrew Reyes, Jose Artiaga III, and Celayna Artiaga; grandparents David Tucker, Esmeralda Cobian, and Jose Arteaga; great-grandparents Victoria Rivera and Nola Tindle; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandmother Kathy Tucker, grandfather Charles Tindle, great grandmother Esther Arteaga, great-grandfather Israel Rivera, cousin Ezequiel Taylor, and great uncle Israel Rivera, Jr.
A Rosary will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday (4-25-22) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. at St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine Street. Burial in the Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation with family present will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday (4-24-22) at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
